Copa Sur is the only competition in the Semifinals that corresponds to the Latin American region.

Athletes participating

On the girls' side we have as favorites the Brazilian Victoria Campos, Mayhem athlete, winner of the last edition of 2022 and of the past Quarterfinals.

Argentinean Sasha Nievas is another favorite. Second in the last Quarterfinals, she changed from Mayhem to PRVN, we will see how this change of planning has affected her.

Another Brazilian in the pools is Luiza Marquez, a three-time CrossFit Games participant in the Teen division, who follows the Mayhem program in Cookeville.

In men we have 2 names:

Gui Malheiros, the most international athlete of the continent and winner of the last edition. He stood out, of course, in the weightlifting wod. His mark was the best of all the semifinals. His popularity exploded in the 2021 Games but in 2022 he had a rather modest season.

The other name is the Argentine Agustin Richelme, after Malheiros is considered the best athlete in South America.
