Time cap: 20 min.
Standards
Before beginning this exercise, the athlete should mark a long, straight line on the floor and place the box in the center of that line.
This 21.2 starts with the dumbbell resting on the floor and the athlete standing. After the call of "3, 2, 1...go!" the athlete will begin to lift the dumbbells, alternating arms after each repetition.
Once you have completed 10 repetitions, you will move to the box and perform 15 box jumps with burpees.
Following this sequence, the number of repeats of snatch PR will increase with each round while the burpee box jumps will remain the same. This exercise ends when the athlete's feet land on the ground on the other side of the box after the last repetition.
The athlete's score will be the total time taken to complete the workout or the total number of repetitions completed before the 20-minute limit.
Movements (important)
Dumbbell Snatch
- The dumbbell snatch begins with both ends of the dumbbell touching the floor.
- The athlete must lift the dumbbell overhead in one motion. The "clean and jerk" is not allowed.
- Touch and go is allowed. Dumbbell bouncing is not allowed.
- Athletes must alternate arms after each repetition and may not alternate until a correct repetition is achieved.
- The athlete cannot use the non-lifting hand or arm to assist by making contact with the legs or other parts of the body during the replay.
- At the top, the athlete's arms, hips and knees should be completely locked, with the dumbbell clearly above the middle of the athlete's body when viewed in profile.
- The repetition will be valid once the athlete has reached the block.
- The athlete may choose to do a split snatch. However, both feet must be back in alignment under the athlete's body while the dumbbell is locked overhead for the repetition to count.
- Athletes cannot receive any assistance in repositioning the dumbbell.
Burpee Box-jump
- The burpee box jump begins with the athlete facing the box while touching the chest and thighs to the floor and ends with the athlete jumping over the box.
- In the lower position, the center of the athlete's chest should be on the line, and the feet and hands should be at the same distance from the line.
- Athletes can step or jump in and out of the push-up position.
- You have to jump with both feet at the same time.and only the athlete's feet can touch the box.
- After landing on the box, the athlete can jump or step to the other side.
- Alternatively, the athlete can jump completely over the box.
- If jumping over the box, the feet should go over the box, not around it, and the athlete should use a two-foot landing.
- It is not necessary to stand upright while on top of the crate.
- Each repetition is counted when the athlete lands on the floor on the opposite side of the box. From there, they may begin their next repetition.
