CrossFit Semifinals

Upon completion of the video review of The CrossFit Quarterfinals, the best athletes will advance to the next phase, the Semifinals.

The semifinals are the final test for the CrossFit athletes before reaching Games.

For the first time in the qualification process, the tests are live for the individual and team divisions. For the age group (teens and masters) and for the adaptive this phase is still online.

We can say that the semifinals are the most modern version of the old Regionals.

All Semifinals, as in 2023, will have the same schedule.

The events will be published on Thursday, May 11, one week before the start of the first Semifinal.

The best athletes from the quarterfinals of each continent compete in the semis. Before receiving the invitation, they have gone through a video review process to confirm that the results are correct.

The criterion for participation in one region or another is based on the nationality of each athlete. In the case of multiple nationalities, the athlete decides with which nationality he/she competes in his/her Open registration. 

What is the registration fee?

In euros, right now the registration fee is about 300 for individuals and 600 for teams.

What awards are athletes eligible for?

The most important is to get a spot for Games. In addition, the top winners also receive the following financial prizes:

1ST - $5000
2ND - $4000
3RD - $3000,
4TH - $2000
5TH - $1000.

Prizes are awarded on the condition that athletes pass all anti-doping tests.

Where to watch the Semifinals?

Broadcasting and coverage depends on each of the competitions, but it is usual for them to do it live through their respective Youtube channels. CrossFit usually makes a summary of the highlights on its YouTube channel in English more detailed follow-up in Spanish in our Telegram channel.
