El regreso de Tia Clair Toomey no decepcionó. La australiana mantuvo la primera posición durante todo el evento e hizo los últimos clean & jerk touch and go. She beat the overall best time of 21:11, owned by Gabriela Migala.
With this victory, Tia has now won 10 in a row in the Semifinals.
Jeffrey Adler, the reigning Fittest on Earth, won the race with a time of 20:28, just 8 seconds ahead of Uldis Upenieks' best overall time in Europe. However, we have learned that the athletes had a slope coming out of the stadium, something that made the race a bit more difficult.

Hatfield was leading followed by Adler and Khrennikov. Adler gets a no rep in the last round of toes to bar and Khrennikov takes advantage to overtake him and take second place behind Hatfield, who gets his first win in a Semifinal event.
Tia Toomey's husband came within 3 seconds of bettering the overall record of Laura Horvath in Europe. Haley Adams was 35th and dropped to 14th overall.

Dallin Pepper led for most of the race until the judge warns him that he has to make another rep in the second-to-last box jump. It is then that Roman Khrennikov closes the gap and they are practically neck and neck. In the last box jump, both almost synchronized star in a spectacular finish. Khrennikov goes down the last without stepping down, and should have received no rep. Both run towards the finish line and it is the Russian who manages to cross before.
In the women's race, Tia Toomey again dominated the race from start to finish, giving no options to her competitors. Haley Adams managed to take second place ahead of Emma Lawson.

On the men's side, the cameras focused on Khrennikov and Cournoyer, in the second half, Dallin Pepper and Jayson Hopper took the lead and finally it was Hopper who would cross first followed by Pepper and Cournoyer.
Hopper gets his sixth win in a Semifinal event.
