The 2025 Team Semifinals are here and the excitement is building inside every box!
This year, with no quarterfinals, the teams qualified from the Open advance directly to this decisive stage.
📅 Competition date: From thursday, april 24 at 12 p.m. PT at Sunday, April 27, at 5 p.m. PT
📝 Registration: Available from Monday, April 7th in games.crossfit.com
💵 Registration fee: USD $100 per unit
👥 Competition Roster:
Minimum: 4 athletes (2 men and 2 women)
Maximum: 6 athletes (3 men and 3 women)

Registration and Cost
- Registration for the Team Semifinals begins on Monday, April 7. through games.crossfit.com.
- Registration fee: USD $100 per unit.
- Important: No results can be submitted until the registration process is completed.
Competition Roster Selection
- During registration, teams must declare its "Competition Team Roster".consisting of minimum 4 athletes (2 males and 2 females) and maximum 6 (3 males and 3 females).
- Only athletes included in this list will be eligible to compete in the Semifinals.
- This roster is blocked after sending and may not be modified after.
- Athletes participating in the Individual or Age-Group divisions can be part of the team's roster (even if they qualified in both categories).
No cuts in the team semifinals
Unlike other divisions, there will be no prior cuts or eliminations in the team division. Any CrossFit affiliated gym with a current license that has entered a team during Open 2025, is entitled to compete in the Semifinals.

800-meter run
100 pull-ups (one athlete working at a time)
800-meter run
100 chest-to-bar pull-ups (one athlete working at a time)
800-meter run
100 muscle-ups (one athlete working at a time)
Time cap: 25 minutes

How do the In-Affiliate Semifinals work?
The team competition format is designed to two men and two women. Once the competition has started, each team shall select only those four athletes of its official staff to represent the team during the entire Semifinal.
Teams will have from thursday, april 24 at 12 p.m. PT to Sunday, April 27, at 5 p.m. PT to complete a series of workouts in their own box and submit their results. The exact number of workouts will be announced prior to the start of the competition.
Videos and Judges
- Although the equipment are not obliged to send videos automatically, CrossFit could apply for them if they are in a position to qualify for the Games.
- It is recommended to record all training sessions in compliance with official guidelines.
- The event must be held in a registered affiliate boxwith:
- A Head Judge with L1 certification (or higher).
- A Floor Judge with L1 certification and the Advanced Judges Course completed..
- Both judges must be identified at the time of submitting the results.
Scoring System and Ties
- All scores for Open are restart in the Semifinals.
- The ranking is based on the sum of positions in each event (low score = best result).
- In the event of a tie, the best place is awarded to the team with the best individual position in any event.
Qualification to the CrossFit Games 2025
- Top 20 teams of the Semifinals will advance to the CrossFit Games 2025.
- Important: Only one team per affiliate may qualify for the Games. If more than one team from the same box finishes in qualifying positions, CrossFit will invite the following eligible team on the leaderboardThe Company's membership is limited to a different affiliate.
