Location: Cordoba, Spain

The event was held in an environment emblematic and visually spectacular: the Roman Bridge of Cordobaalso known as the San Rafael Bridge. This historic bridge crosses the Guadalquivir River and connects the old city with the modern one.

🔸 Unique scenario:
The athletes ran over the bridge, which was partially closed to the public for the occasion. While half of the bridge was open to pedestrians, the other half was used as a running track for the participants.

🔸 Urban and historical environment:
Competing in a place surrounded by history, with the Mosque-Cathedral in the background and the old town visible during the race, offered an unforgettable experience for athletes and spectators alike.

🔸 Local support:
The city of Córdoba was an official sponsor of the first Wodland Fest event. Their involvement was key to take this event outside the typical competition venue, bringing a cultural and touristic flair to the event.

🔸 Climate and conditions:
Although Cordoba is known for its heat, on the day of the event the weather was favorable, with a light breeze that helped mitigate the effort. This allowed the athletes to perform in optimal conditions despite the demanding effort.
