Leader of the first heat: 🇧🇷 José María "Juniño" Paula Junior

Benjamin Gutierrez was the winner of Event 1 individual male in the Copa Sur 2025, with a categorical performance that positioned him as leader at the end of the first day of competition.

🥇 Outstanding performance.

Benja commented that he did not expect to win the event, although he did come with the confidence that he could make a top 5. He stated that he had worked hard during the season and that these types of events (running + thrusters) are now one of his strengths:

"It showed all the work I was putting in during the season... The fat boy was running, so the work got done."
