HYROX Anti-Doping Code 2024/25

HYROX doping

HYROX World GmbHinternational organizer of functional endurance sporting events, has established its own Anti-Doping Code (HYROX-ADC) for the 2024/2025 season.

Based on the standards of the World Anti-Doping Code (WADA) and the German National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA)This code seeks to ensure fair, safe and transparent competitions.

Doping in HYROX: is there a historical background?

Unlike other sports with decades of history, HYROX is a young discipline within the competitive functional fitness landscape.

To date, no notorious cases of doping have been documented publicly within the HYROX circuit.

However, the organization has been clear from the beginning: they will not wait for scandals to emerge to act. For this reason, HYROX World GmbH has implemented a proactive anti-doping code and rigorous, adapted from the standards of the WADA and the NOTHING German.

"HYROX's commitment to fair play is not a reaction to a crisis, but a statement of principle since its founding."

In comparison, sports such as CrossFit have faced multiple documented cases of dopingespecially in high-level competitions.

HYROX seeks to learn from these outside experiences to protect the integrity and credibility of its community from its early stages of global expansion.

This makes the HYROX Anti-Doping Code (HYROX-ADC) not only in a regulation, but in an ethical pillar of this emerging sport.
