What is Flex
Flex is the complete option for those who want to cover unforeseen events without looking for a substitute.
What's Included
- One name change per athlete or team.
- Refunds according to cancellation date:
- 100% until 31 days prior at 7:59 local time.
- 50% until 7 days before 7:59 local time.
- The cost of the Add-On is not reimbursed.
When to choose
- Travel, injury, work or changing schedule.
- You compete in Doubles or Relay and prefer not to look for a replacement.
What happens if I don't use Flex Add-on in HYROX?
- You will not be able to receive reimbursement
- You cannot change the name
- You cannot change to another event
- You cannot change category
Key rules you should know
- Add it at the time of purchase. You cannot add Flex or Lite Flex later.
- Late purchase window. Tickets purchased within 6 weeks prior to the event are not eligible for Flex. Flex Lite is, up to 1 day prior.
- Deadline. All deadlines close at 7:59 local time of the event on the day indicated.
- Sportograf. Refundable only if purchased with a Flex ticket.
- Charity tickets. Allow Lite Flex for name change. No refunds with Flex on charity.
- Spectator tickets. No Flex, no exchanges, no refunds.

How to use the FLEX Addon?
Apply from your HYROX account.
- Go to “My orders” and choose the race.
- Click on “Request Refund” and confirm.
- Check what is reimbursed
- The price of the ticket and compatible add-ons is refunded.
- The Flex fee is not refundable.
- The Photo Package is only refundable if you purchased it with a ticket that has Flex.
- Receive confirmation
- You will receive an email with the status of your refund.
Quick examples
- You purchased Flex and cancel 40 days before. You receive 100% of the ticket price. The cost of the Add-On is non-refundable.
- You purchased Flex and cancel 5 days before. You receive 50% of the ticket price. The cost of the Add-On is non-refundable.
- You bought Lite Flex and you can't go. You make a name change up to 1 day before 7:59. No refund.
- You bought the ticket 4 weeks before the event. You could not add Flex. Lite Flex can, and you can use the name change.
- You bought Sportograf together with a ticket with Flex and you cancel on time. You can refund the photo package.
- You have a charity ticket. You can add Lite Flex for name change. There is no refund option with Flex.

- Decide the Add-On at checkout according to your level of uncertainty.
- If you buy Sportograf, associate it to a ticket with Flex if you want to be able to reimburse it.
- Always check the cutoff time 7:59 in the time zone of the event.
