CrossFit Semifinals

Once the Open has been completed and the former Quarterfinals have been eliminated, the best athletes will move on to the next phase: the Semifinals.
What are the CrossFit Semifinals?
The Semifinals is an online competition managed by CrossFit Games to which are added different face-to-face competitions (not organized by CrossFit Games) in which the winning athletes receive a direct invitation to participate in the CrossFit Games.
The semifinals are the final test for the CrossFit athletes before reaching Games.
Who participates in the Semifinals?
According to the world ranking Open, the 1% upper* (or a minimum of 1,200 athletes) in the men's and women's individual divisions will qualify to participate in the Semifinals.
The top 2% (or a minimum of 200 athletes) in each Age Group division will qualify to participate in the Age Group Semifinals.
ALL Open teams will be eligible to participate in the Team Semifinals with the opportunity to qualify for the CrossFit Games.

Age Groups: Thursday, April 3, at 12 p.m. PT through Sunday, April 6, at 5 p.m. PT.
Equipment: Thursday, April 24, at 12 p.m. PT through Sunday, April 27, at 5 p.m. PT.
Individuals: Thursday, May 1, at 12 p.m. PT through Sunday, May 4, at 5 p.m. PT.

What is the registration fee?
Individual: $100

What awards are athletes eligible for?
The most important is to get a spot for Games. In addition, the top winners also receive the following financial prizes:
1ST - $5000
2ND - $4000
3RD - $3000,
4TH - $2000
5TH - $1000.
Prizes are awarded on the condition that athletes pass all anti-doping tests.
Number of athletes qualifying for CrossFit Games
Individual division:
The number of qualifiers for the online Semifinals (in each division) will be the difference between all qualifiers (30) minus the total number of athletes advancing from the Qualifying events.
CrossFit will announce the specific number of qualifiers for the Semifinals online prior to the start of the competition.
Age Group:
Masters 35-39: Top 30 men and top 30 women
Masters 40-44: Top 30 men and top 30 women
Masters 45-49: Top 30 men and top 30 women
Masters 50-54: Top 30 men and top 30 women
Masters 55-59: Top 30 men and top 30 women
Masters 60-64: Top 20 men and top 20 women
Masters 65-69: Top 20 men and top 20 women
Masters 70+: Top 10 men and top 10 women
Teenagers 14-15: Top 30 boys and top 30 girls
Teenagers 16-17: Top 30 boys and top 30 girls

Where to watch the Semifinals?
Broadcasting and coverage depends on each of the competitions, but it is usual for them to do it live through their respective Youtube channels. CrossFit usually makes a summary of the highlights on its YouTube channel in English more detailed follow-up in Spanish in our Telegram channel.
